United Way of Marion County's goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of problems. There are basic things we all need for a good life; a quality education that leads to a stable job, income that can support a family through retirement and good health. In addition, we provide some funding for emergency needs such as food, clothing and shelter in order to stabilize famililies as they move toward better education, income and health.
